In December 2021 we added our first lamb to the farm beginning our sheep experience.

Mary was our first lamb, her mom rejected her and she was given to me by the owner of our local feed store as a bottle baby when she was 2 days old. She is a Royal White hair sheep and was born Nov 16, 2021.

I got Freckles as a buddy for Mary, another bummer lamb rejected by mom and she was 4 days old when I picked her up as another bottle baby.  She is a Katahdin hair sheep and was born Dec 16, 2021.

In August of 2023 I increased my small flock by adding 3 new sheep.  Belle is a Katahdin/Dorper and was born December 2022.

Laramie is the second of the 3 new sheep.  She is also a Katahdin/Dorper and was born January 2023.

Sierra is the third of the 3 new sheep.  She is also a Katahdin/Dorper and was born January 2023.

Eve was the first lamb born here on the farm.  She is the daughter of Freckles and Montana and is full Katahdin.  She was born May 8, 2023.

Daisy was the second lamb born here on the farm.  She is the daughter of Flower (who passed away due to complications during birth) and Montana.  She is a Katahdin/Dorper and was born May 15, 2023.  

Savanah is the daughter of Sierra and Montana so she is a Katahdin/Dorper.  She was born here on the farm on January 29, 2024.

Trixie is the daughter of Freckles and Montana.  She is full Katahdin and was born on February 9, 2024

Selene is Mary's first lamb and the sweetest of them all.  Her dad is Montana so she is Royal White/Katahdin.  She was born on February 24, 2024 during a full moon, hence the name.

Melody is the daughter of Eve and Montana and is the first lamb of our second generation.  She is full Katahdin and was born March 5, 2024.

Violet is the daughter of Daisy and Montana and is the second lamb of our second generation.  She is Katahdin/Dorper and was born April 21, 2024.

We added a ram for breeding in October 2022.  Montana was born April 8, 2022 and is full Katahdin (born of registered parents).  

In March 2023 we traded Montana for our new breeding ram Arizona.  He was born February 26, 2023 and is full Katahdin.
